
The primary goal of International Organization is to increase Stetson students' awareness on international practices, to celebrate international culture, to enrich Stetson's cultural environment with student-led activities, and to bridge the gap between domestic and international students at our university.

By being subscribed to the email list, one is automatically considered a member. To become a member, simply email sio@stetson.edu
Further, we have several types of membership that helps students choose their level of involvement.
Basic members:
a Student is considered a member, and will accordingly receive all announcements and information about events. Although it is encouraged, the member is not required to attend meetings or events on a regular basis.
Active members:
is awarded to those who attend a minimum of 75% of all SIO meetings and events. This form of membership grants voting rights in elections, which are held every semester.
Position members:
are members who hold a non-officer position (Assistant Event Manager, Multicultural Chair, etc) or an officer/executive position (President, VP, Event Manager etc). These members should attend all meetings if possible, and officers should also all executive meetings.
